Today my Gratia is for friends. 

I am going out for drinks with the ladies tonight and am really looking forward to it. It has been awhile since I have last had the opportunity to get out and about and it is going to really fun.

Today my Gratia is for a beautiful morning.

After the 5" of snow that we got yesterday I headed out for a wonderful morning walk. I brought my camera hoping to get some great shots of flowers and budding trees covering in inches of snow. It was great and Logan offers more then normal extraordinary views to behold especially after a whopper of storm like we had. So I am happy to be feeling good enough to trek out and get some brisk air in my lungs, my legs working hard, a few new pics to look over.

Today my Gratia is for SNOW! 

We have pretty near 4" so far and it is still snowing. Sadly the thunderstorms didn't happen but the snow did. I must say that I do enjoy a good spring snow storm. The poor little tulips with their drowsy heads all covered with snow helps me realize what spring is, a wild weather extravaganza. I could still smell the wonderful blossoms of the trees by our house today although they were covered and frozen. That is what I like, a little bit of the a little bit of that.

Today my Gratia is for weather. 

I am eagerly awaiting a big storm that is supposedly rolling in today. Right now the sky is blue and it warm and nice outside but when the National Weather Service says 100% chance of thunderstorms I know something is going to happen. I like weather and I could never see my self living somewhere where it rarely changes. I especially love thunderstorms. They are exciting and today they are just the beginning, after the thunderstorms, SNOW! Since we had the wimpiest winter I can remember snow is an exciting thing and knowing it won't last very long makes it even more fun. Here's to wind, rain, thunder and lightning and snow!

Today my Gratia is for ducks. 

We are currently on the adventure of trying to sell our house. I had no idea what that would involve. The 40+ showings that we have had in the past two months have become let's say an interesting "routine". Having to be gone away from the house for often hours at a time has caused me to be more creative with how to occupy ourselves with out spending money. Today for our time away Wren and I went to a reservoir close to our house and just watched ducks and geese and what ever else floated by. We sat in the sunshine and chatted and watched. Sometimes I guess I just need an excuse to enjoy such simple and wonderful things that otherwise I just might not take the time to see. Thanks ducks you made my day and little better.

Today my Gratia is for the clothes line. 

I love my clothes line in the back yard and I know it is a weird thing to love but it is a kind of meditation for me to hang my clothes. Besides the energy it saves from the dryer and how splendid the clothes smell it gives me an excuse to be alone and in the sun for a few minutes. Most of the time everyone scatters when it is time to do laundry so I just have me and my thoughts for a few moments and it is wonderful. Just working and thinking with the sounds of outside filling my ears. Great little moments like this are my favorite.
